Electrical Problem

I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with my car, but it appears to be an electrical problem of some sort. This evening, I unlocked my doors with the keyless entry, got into my car and went to start it and nothing. No dash lights, headlights, indicators lights, interior lights...as it appears there is no juice at all. Does anyone have any ideas?
To top it all off, I own a garage townhome (the garage isn't very big...just big enough for my car and some tools) and the car is in the garage. At this point, it is in Park and won't come out of park...so this is going to be difficult to work on.
My car is a 1999 GrandPrix GTP (with HUD if that matters).
All help is appreciated.

Something like that has happened to me before and usually is a loose battery terminal or almost dead battery. If you got a multimeter check the battery cold voltage it is supposed to be 12V or a little bit higher.

I checked out the battery and have determined that it is the problem, but not for the reasons you listed. The battery has corroded through the bottom and through wiring harness that connects the electrical system to the battery.

I am sorry to hear that, instead of just replacing the battery replacing the wiring harness is a little more time consuming. At least you know what the problem is. If my advice helped you glad I could if not glad you could find what the problem was.
