Well one of my friends dad's ordered his son an air/fuel ratio gauge and there was a mixup somehow with them and the company and they ended up with 2 gauges for the price of one. Well he said he would sell the air/fuel gauge to me for like $10 so im prolly gonna pick it up (by the way its an Autometer Ultra-Lite, brand new). Now what im wondering is what other possibilities i could use to mount it rather than from my A-Pillar. If there are any other places or suggestions i would appreciate it, also if u have pix of other places please post em, thanx.

Yeah i mean i dont mind the A-Pillar but i dont want it look tacky on there if i get a gauge holder for my a pillar. Idk i guess i could get the A-pillar holder and then paint it so it matches or somethin. I was just wondering if there were any other places that would be unique. I like where my friend has his...he has a 95 Jetta VR6 and he moved his cd player down to where he had an open slot and has 3 gauges in his dash, looks really clean.

I personally like gauges that are displayed in other places than the A-pillar, but there aren't a lot of options for the 4G's. I have a friend who cut into his dash, modified an A-pillar holder, and mounted it just to the right of the a/c vents, so that he could see them if he looked just to the right. It looked really clean, but he's a car audio installer and knows how to do that stuff right, I on the other hand, wouldn't dare, and stick with the ready-to-install stuff... Just an idea for you, though...

Yeah i wouldnt mind it somewhere in my dash or somethin like that but too bad in the console area there isn't any extra room or somethin where i could have a holder put in, oh well, I guess ill see what happens.
