Nice car, where are the rims come from? Maybe from a R33?

I wouldn't be proud, I'd be embarrased. It's like calling attention to yourself when you got nothing.

NIce clean build though.

its a type-R. i'd be proud to drive a type-R anyday.

MMMM.. 9000RPM :iceslolan

what did you mean bah humbug? :dunno:

No, really, an S15, cleanly built with a TT Rb26, 6spd, rhd, who wouldn't want that, it's clean and I'm sure has some power to back it up.

I know what you meant, I felt complimented. thank you. :D

sorry to hijack camber. those do look like R33 rims. they look good on the teg. you should consider painting the seats red or blue or black. (something besides stock ;) )

maybe add a cold air tube to run from the undercarriage to the filter, seen similar setups, short ram intake with filter, and a tube that runs from the filter to the undercarriage for cold air.

BahHumbug- Like blueboost said, Embarrased to drive around in a Type-R? Its not like it's a 88 escort or something.. Not sure what your thinking of...

The hood- Did'nt really feel like painting the other side black, and dont really care too much if it's not painted. Knowing me, when i flipped it upside down to paint the other side Id get the top stuck to the newspaper or something... It happens a lot..

CAI - I don't really like touching built models.. I usually fuck it up and end up trashing it.. So it'll most likely stay like this

The rims- Yes they are R33 rims. I had to cut them narrower to fit the wheel wells though, same with the tires.

My dad's friend has a black Type R, purely stock, and I love it. He takes it out only in great wheather and takes care of it like a precious child.

The thing I don't like about it in real life is I wouldn't dress my car like that if it was purely stock.

It looks like one of those ricers that teenagers drive.

I can appreciate that. ;)

I certainly wouldn't have chrome rims on it (no offense camber) other then that I stand by my real life scenario

The car look damn good! I really like those rims.. they really set it off. Remember, for the hood you could just brush paint the underside.

Congratulations!
A very clean build up, Out of the box, but very good, and the paint that you call mediocre, is just awesome!

Remember, for the hood you could just brush paint the underside.

I usually do that, or spray the underside in flat black first, then after completely dry, turnover, clean other side and spary it.

I guess i can brush it when I have some extra time.. Thanks again

About the hood.. If your wondering how I got it so shiny, if you use tamiya paint, with the exeption of metallics, silver leaf.. Colors like pure white, chrome yellow, italian red, basic colors like that, If you dont use primer, which I don't anymore. Just sand the body down and spray on the plastic.. It comes out like Glass, saves money on primer, and saves the frustration of polishing it out, which is a pain in the ass if you ask me. I learned it from experience.. Just a suggestion

I used to do that, what grit do you use to sand down the body?? Would sapphire blue be acceptable without primer?

Camber
11-27-2003, 02:03 PM
I used 1500 grit. I didnt use primer on this model with it, so you be the judge of that.. Just spray extremly lightly or its going to run.
