I Have A 00' Gmc Jimmy With Vortec Engine. And When Temps Outside Drop It Will Crank And Not Start. I Can Hear Fuel Pump Prime. After Try Later In Day It Will Start, But It Seems You Have To Let Off From Cranking Slightly Then It Will Act Like Its Gonna Start And Then Must Give It Some Gas Untill It Smooths Out (note: No Ck Engine Light) Any Ideas Or Anyone Else With Similar Problems . Truck Has 60k On It

Try changing out your fuel filter, this could be the problem. Or you could also try putting a heat lamp under it at night.

There are some GM technical bulletins concerning your concern.
One that comes to mind has to do with the injector poppets sticking causing a hard/ no start cold condition
