Transmission fluid leak

I just finished replacing my radiator to discover I have a transmission fluid leak. I don't know much about this, so I'm not sure if it is a large leak. When I put cardboard down, it leave a spot about an inch wide by 3 inches ong. That look like a lot to me. I assume this is a very espensive repair. The radiator only cost $214 from radiatorbarn.com but only two weeks before that I had the plugs points, wires and ERG valve replaced which cost $998. I'm hoping to put off any other costly repairs for at least a couple months if possible. Is this size leak something I need to be very concerned about?

Where do you see the leak? could it be in the area of the trans lines you disconnected to change the rad? Fluid may take some time to drip down after such a repair. Or maybe the line might be a little loose.

I hadn't noticed any leak until the radiator was changed, so matbe it could be. But the leak is pretty far back. It's maybe a foot in from the middle of the driver's-side wheel.

It's possible whoever did the rad that they lost fluid out of the trans cooler side of the rad (mostly always happens) and ran onto the plastic shield and now found a way out.

Thanks. This weekend, I'll try to determine if that's all that is going on. Either way, I should definately sheck the fluid level tonight and top it up if needed.

Alls I have to say is who ever charged you $998 to do plugs, wires, egr and (points?) is raking you!!!!!
Learn a bit about your car, the cost of parts and average labor cuz thats nutz.
I put AC Delco (original equipment) plugs and wires in my car myself.
The parts were almost $170 and it took me 2 hrs.
( shouldn't take a mechanic 2hrs.)
2 hrs. labor at $70 an hour plus parts at 100 % mark up is is $480
Find another mechanic!!!!!!!
