obdII codes

I have two codes that keep popping up,P1441 and P0430. I have the description of the problems but can't figure out where to start looking. I also have the G.M. printout with schematics but without sophisticated test equipment I can't make heads or tails of this...any help would be greatly appreciated 96 Caprice LT1 9C1 cop car

the p1441 is probably a stuck open evap purge valve, look at emisson label on radiator support for location, the p0430 is a failed right bank catalytic converter.
