Some one here told me that they imported for UK to Canada an M7 4 door, Am I being stooped into believing that an actual 1992 M7 4 door realy exists ???

My personal gut feeling is that someone took a 735i and stuck the m bagging on it ? Am I right ??

Thank you !

I live in Canada in Toronto. We probably have more BMW's than anywhere else in Canada (except maybe Vancouver!! HAHAHA :evillol: ) And I have neither seen nor heard of such a thing. I'm pretty sure it don't exist. Maybe they confused it somehow with us getting "real" M3's a few years ago while the States got duds? Who knows? That's the closest I can see as to the 2 different markets. :smokin:

YA, Vancouver is overrun with BMW's. I cant look outside my house without seeing at least one BMW.

The guy next door has an E46 with CF muffler(mad it himself) and CF interior(mad him self), and a bunch of other CF things that he made. Beautiful car.

Well... I kinda expected that a car like this would neve be released in the Americas !
It seems that this was purchassed in the UK (stock M7 4 door) and imported to Ottawa !

My question is realy if this model type M7 was ever produced in that year in the UK ??

Thanks for your replies, realy insightfull !

I don't think they had one "over there" either. I used to buy all the British Car mags (back before I went broke, HAHAHA) and have NEVER seen any reference to an M7. I have seen a car referred to as an M7, but it was someone who "rolled his own" so to speak.(750)

I mean, it's possible, but I have a feeling the answer is no. Mybe check into Emailing Classic and Sportscar Magazine in Britain? I once Emailed to see if they had a website and the EDITOR himself Emailed me back the next day. I don't have the Email address at the moment but if you want can look it up later and post it.

Den. :2cents:

you should see New York City, WOOOOOOO! heh

But, BMW never ever manufactured a BMW M7. My good pal, whos Vice-President of Sales & Marketing in BMW, Jim McDowell told me once before, that BMW isn't willing to spend the money, to produce such a car, since they predict market sales would be low, also because they were influenced by the rare V12 750iL, because the 750 also didnt recieve that many sales. But BMW is talking about it again, and are still very unsure what the plan is. They think the E65 760Li V12 is close enough to an M7. I think so too.

But nascar3, I think your friend is pulling your leg. The owner probably took the BMW, and took the series number off it, cut the 7, and bought an M symbol, then reglued it back on. I know plenty who have done that. My dads friend's brother bought a 2003 BMW 540i 6-speed sport, the one with the M5 Sport Package, and he took the 540 symbol off, but the 5, and bought an extra M symbol, and combined the two to make is look like an M5. Pretty sneaky, It's a good idea to trick people.
