Power windows

:2cents: Anyone had a problem with the electric window motors on Buick LeSabre. My mom has had to have three replaced, one being a back window which probably hasn't been put down 5 times in it's life.
Personally I think Buick should have a recall on them, this car has 23,000 miles on it

the problem is very common, but it's not worth recalling it, think of the losses GM would suffer, and it's not life threatening, so they wont recall it.

I have taken these window motors apart and cleaned them. They are full of rust from condensation or water getting in them from rain or washing the car. But in any case a little time and effort with some rags and WD-40, they will clean up and work like new again. I have done this to both my Buick and Pontiac.
