Some import builders told me that the p28 ecu that runs the 5th gen civics generate more hp when chipped and used with the h22's..... has anyone heard or tried it??

i would keep away from it unless you can get a solid source (articles and such) that they provide gains (not that the people who told you about it aren't a reliable source), i haven't heard anyone use these on an h22 before..
I've heard P72 (for GSR-B18C1) Ecu's work since they share the same "dual butterfly" setup as the h22. - but then i also heard that they have major lag at around 4k before vtec hits. but they work, proven.
I'd stick to p13 until further notice.
