ZC on a 89 crx hf ??? newbie

I got a 89 crx hf and thinking about doing a swap with zc engine as soon as i got enough information and money :). Most of the information i found was about the crx si. Here are my questions
Is swapping a zc engine to a crx si the same as swapping it to a crx HF.
What needs to be take in consideration when swapping it to a crx hf.
And for those who have done this swap to HF, what advise can you give to a newbie.

the wiring harness for Si/HF is the same, only the HF has provision for the EGR valve.

If you wish to use the ZC tranny, which is highly recommended over the HF transmission, you'l have to get DX/LX/EX/Si hubs and axles. If you use a DX or Si 5 speed, you can use your stock axles and hubs.

other than that, it will bolt right in.

The HF is great cuz you don't have to rewire or anything for the MPFI, and it's lighter than the Si or DX. I would definitely recommend getting a different trans, and biting the bullet to swap out the Hubs and axles. The HF trans is built for economy, and it doesn't deliver performance. I have a friend who did the exact same swap and wished he had changed out the trans within hours of finishing the swap. The ZC trans is great too, cuz you have an intermediate shaft and equal length axles, which delivers smoother power and less torque steer. Definitely get at least the Si trans. You'll be glad you did later!
