brake light on

Hi all,

Hope somebody may have had this trouble. I have a 98 with 38,000 on
the clock and the brake light just came on and wont go out. I check
the parking brake switch and the fluid level, and they are all ok! I
also hear the ABS motor run and charge when you first start out (ABS
sees the VSS signal) also the ABS still works?!? Not sure how to get
the codes out of the control module?? any suggestions??

The light went out for a little while but came back on again!!! any sugestions... Is there a fault switch somewere else that is not on the schematic in the chilton book?? I now have 40,000 on the clock and the brakes still function normally.......
