98 GP GT Auto headlights intermittent off and blower problem

Strange problem that I thought you guys may be able to help me with....My automatic headlights shut off by themself and at the same time the blower quit working on settings 1-4. I had to turn on the headlights switch for headlights. This has happened twice so far in the past couple of days. This morning everything worked fine. Any Ideas?

The only thing I might think of is the DRL circuit. I disabled it because I want to turn mi lights on manually and the autolight on feature stopped working(that is what I wanted).
There is a 10amp fuse on the glove compartment fuse box that is for DRL and the auto light on feature. Checked if is broken or loose.
IF not then the DRL circuit could be the issue.
All this is guess work based on my DRL/Auto light on feature.
Do not quote me on that.

Interesting, in my case if I leave the hi beam for a long time all the dash will go dark and the lights will go out too. I replaced the ignition switch under the steering column because the DIC will go out from time to time. The DIC got fixed but the hi beam issue is still at large. I would think that the light switch could be the issue. What you think?
