just a thought and you may have headers that may help ? and a new cat. Also you are losing the MPG because of you 12 psi are you running that daily that is bad for you engine an car lose gas fast because of it. other thing really is a better turbo or for more psi which = more power

Yes 12psi is not good to run on the street if you drive it daily or bi-daily. Lower the PSI, until you get to the track/dyno. There are a few reasons why your power and gas milage aren't what you want but first of all I would like to say that 285whp is Really good for a mildly/moderately built h22a. First of all, you should look into your ECU tuning, or should i say lack-there-of. If your going turbo, I would throw away that ghetto ass V-afc and get a stand-alone ECU...Zdyne is what I would get. You will have a more reliable engine, better gas milage, better power in every rpm. THATS what I would do, no doubt in my mind, not one. Another thing I would check is your catalytic convertor, with a turbo setup and possible rich settings on ur ecu will do nothing but KILL your cat convertor, and that will fuck up both your gas milage and power big time. The last thing I would do is make sure you got the right Temp spark plugs, maybe upgrade to colder plugs?? Wait, one very last thing I would do is change/check your O2 sensors because they take a damn good beating with a turbo/rich setup.

Hey i dont really know what u have on ur car. but if u got turbo on it i think u should get skunk2 turbo camshafts. Then i would get aem fuel regulator and aem fuel rail. The other thing is AEM Tru- Power pulleys increase power by reducing the parasitic drag caused by factory accessory pulleys. Our lightweight pulleys reduce rotating weight and are slightly oversized to maximize efficiency, which nets more horsepower at the wheels. We guarantee our pulleys' belt tooth profiles to match O.E. specifications, eliminating any chance of premature belt wear. so this is my advice but u might already have these things.
