Electric Tranny Problems

Yeah I did the V8 conversion in my S10 with a electric tranny that was in with a 4.3L Jimmy Engine. I even took the wiring harness out of the Jimmy so the tranny would hook up no problem but while I was ripping it out I cut one to many wires by accident and now my speedometer doesn't work. Theres power to it when I turn on the ignition but it doesn't budge when the truck is moving. Any help on rewiring or any solution at all would be a great help. Thanks
