ok i am tired of my civic and i saved up a bit
o question
i seen and drove the evo and i am against the car oh its fast i smoked a mustang gt with it but too much money for such little car and and also played with the wrx and it was not what i thought it would be i have a ls turbo civic and i felt like the power dif between em was not that great

now i enter my question 30,000 us dollars seems fair to pay for a g35 coupe or a 350z because its not my money
now i seen the new fairladies and skylines (jdm)
whats the dif between the a g35 coupe or a 350z(here) from the skyline in japan? besides the right-hand drive deal
and how great is the diff should i just buy the g35 or skyline and make a emblem and grill conversion?
or hustle a bit more and coff up the cash to the importshop by my house for one?

GET THE SKYLINE. And get an R34 GT-R. their the best ones. (my opinion only) And, dude...they're worth it!

since you said us dollars i think youre in the states, and if you can save up the money for a skyline, that would be nice. but if i ever had 30k to spend i probably wouldn't spend it all. g35 is a good choice though

Since your price range is $30k and nowhere near the cost of an R34 GT-R( ), what about going for something cheaper?

A WRX might fit the bill, since you will have plenty money left over for mods and still be able to put some cash in the bank.

do those 2 quotes make sense? they're from the same person.

you can't afford a skyline with 30k.
insurance is over 4k a year. you have to put up considerably more than the cost of the car to get it here (insurance fees up front that get paid back).

the fairlady is the 350z. the g35 is the skyline.

anything else?

how about an s2000?

the MR-S or 350z would be my choice after that, but i heard that the Z had engine problems this year...

First off the Infinti G35 is not your stereotypical skyline, it no longer sports the RB series inline 6 range of engines. The equivalent in Japan is the Skyline V35, which is a daily family car similar to a Maxima if you guys get those in the US.

The fairlady uses a V6 block, is a lot more torquey than a skyline. Then again the fairlady is hard to aintain esp since its difficult to service and parts are hard to come by cheaply.

If you're thinking about the diff between an R32, R33 or R34 skyline and the G35 then they're huge a simple emblem swap n shit ain't gonna fix that (they're 2 diff ends of the spectrum). However if you're goin for the diff betwen the Skyline V35 and the Infinity G35, I guess they're the same car, just with different options so there shouldn't be much hassle converting one to the other.

I'd reccomend a 350z over a G35... its a great car and you'll enjoy it far more, its more asthetically designed and its a sports car, which the G35 isn't.

by nature, a straight 6 is far torquier than a V motor...

which fairlady are you talking about? the z32, or the new, 350z fairlady?

you're not very specific in your post
