96 Dodge 3500 not charging no tack no check engine light

96 dodge alt not charging no tack no speedometer no check engine light no wait to start light (diesel) traced the wiring checked the PCM is ok ingition switch is OK back of the instrument cluster is ok power and ground to the PCM is ok all fuses are good if anyone has had a similar problem please!! let me know what to look for next I'm LOST :screwy:

i'm still having the same problem i tested the pcm, the ground system the ingition switch the asd relay and both of the fuel relays and tested the power and the ground at the pcm and i still can not locate the problem have you had any luck??

took mine to the dealer they told me there are 12 different grounds on the truck, one of them had shorted. Mine was on the front of the engine driver side near the valve cover. They just cleaned the contact area and replaced the bolt. when one of the grounds short out it shuts down the whole pcm system. good luck!

I had the same problem with my 97 ram diesel.
