Could you potenially create a vtec (or any other electronic valve system) for a mustang engine? Forget about the fact that no one makes cams vtec style for mustangs, My question is just if the head and valve train could be fabricated.
Whats the diff between VTEC, The electronic controler for a 525i Bimmer , and the new variable valve timing controler found on some nissans? is there any?

If you were a major aftermarket player with bukko bucks, you could probably fabricate some. The technology is there, there just isn't any demand for such a product. It would take not only the hardware (heads, valvetrain) but also the software and Ford ECU know-how. As for differences between company variable valve timing systems, I don't know exactly, as I have not studied them all that closely. I suggest you familiarize yourself with this technology, as its application in the future will be ubiquitous.

You can do anything to anything, given enough time, money, and know-how. Or maybe just money.
