i hope this subject will get people to look at this...ok.....
on my new car....the tack *rpms* dont work....what would be the cause of this?? i checked the dizzy, and everything seems to be fine...?? help please!

Yes I'm sure it will, but its THE WRONG WAY to get people to look at a post.
Make sure you are getting power at the dizzy.
Check for a poped fuse.
You may need a new cluster, but most likely you don't, but if you do, I have an Si cluster for sale.

well me and my boy nick checked the dizzy, and everything was normal.....i dont know..ima bout to put this f'ing car in the junk yard with the other

88 and 89 clusters are interchangeable...why not take the one off your old car.

so you checked the blue wire on the dizzy, you also might want to check the ground, u should switch up your gauge clusters between your two then u will find out if its the gauge cluster or wiring/connection of your car.

yea..hes right def check the wiring for the cluster, those can be a bitch sometimes..i know ive exchanged many clusters
