Who has done this swap here? can it be done i have searched everywhere for it! I would love to get some information on this swap. I like the B20 i think its a solid motor. Please someone help me with more info on the subject.. I have a spare b16a head that is currently chillin in a solvent tank before i get it ported and polished. What needs to be done with the block or head to mate the two together.and what other mods do i need.
If Someone wants to give me info ill compile it and experiment and do a formal write-up for all those in the future.
my buddy has an insane ls/vtec so i know the potential is there.
Ghetto Lude : custom exhaust, ebay intake, 2 kicker L7 subs, 1600 watt Kicker amp Pioneer stereo and components.

The guy (Tom) at http://www.ludespeed.com/ started the b20a/vtec thing, He used a b16a head like you. Maybe you can contact him and ask him for a write-up about it. He stopped making b20a/vtecs because it was too expensive and the power:price (Haha, I didn't mean to do that, the : and P together makes that face, then it says rice...wow what a great accident haha) ratio was very low. BTW, our engines have a 95mm stroke and an R:S of 1.49 so as you can see, they aren't made for high revving. Vtec is made for high revving engines with R:S's closer to 1.75 (optimal)...The b16a has an R:S of 1.74!! So you can see, the b16a head wont work as good on our engines as they would the b16a simply because we cannot rev as high as b16as do.
If Tom at Ludespeed cannot help you, go to www.preludepower.com <--probably your best bet, do a search and you should find a lot of information, even a write-up. Good luck
