Carbon fiber hood

A performance shop is going to be opening up in my town and I spoke with the guy who is running it. I asked about getting the c/f hood and he said if i got five people who wanted it he could have it made. He just got done getting the hoods made for the Ford Probe and all he needs is the demand. So, if any five people are serious let me know, send your email address and i'll see if I can get the guy to contact you with the info.

Check these guys out ... www.fiberimages.com ... they already make a CF hood for the P11. Their sites says a P10 is in the works.

These guys carry them ... www.motivational.net ... for $650 +s&h. You can even get them with color weaves in the CF. Just letting you know.

Ok well, thats not the question, that bull is gonna hook whoever wants the hood for the p10 up if I can get five people who want it.

The hoods will be made sooner if there is a demand! The guy that owns the shop will have the hoods made if i can get him that demand. If we just sit around and wait then the hood may take longer because it is just a side project for fiber images.

I hate to badmouth Fiberimages, as their products are great, but I don't think they care at all about the P10's. They had a hood since like March and just sat on it and didn't even make a mold or anything... I bet it'll still be a while... but I hope they prove me wrong, as their stuff is some of the best i've seen so far.

well they used a P10 for their test car to run over the carbon fiber hood :D

Yeah, that was Len Carson's P10. I think he may be in the forum, I'm not sure? I think his car had hood pins, so he couldn't make a mold from it, as it was "modified" from stock.
