Hello all! I've got myself a nice red 5th lude (non-SH), so far have an AEM CAI on it, and plan to add a Mugen twin-loop silencer exhaust when I can... those things run about $1000... Do any of you have one of these things on a 5th gen? The online reviews say it's great, but I'll get all the info I can before dropping a grand. Performance? Sound? Problems? Alternatives?

Genuine Mugen parts will get you respect amongst the enthusiasts. If you are going for performance though, there are probably equally good systems out there for half as much.
I always say my car deserves the best though. Do what you want man, don't settle for anything.

Yeah, my friends all say that there has to be cheaper systems available that look and sound just as good. Any suggestions are welcome- I just don't want loud farty noises coming out of my car...

A lot 5th gen owners seem to be very satisfied with Thermal R&D exhaust systems! Have a look here: www.thermalrd.com/

kinda off topic but what makes the mugen twin loop so much differant than any other muffler? Only thing i can think of is that it loops so that is silences it more...
