Hello everyone. I am the new owner of a 2WD '95 Rodeo 5spd. It's maroon over grey with 103k mi. Anyways, I'm a starving college student and decided the '01 Jetta wasn't big enough and could get me some cash, so got rid of that and have now joined the Isuzu crowd. As I'm sure you can all see, these rims suck. I'm thinking about getting rockcrawlers and putting some big tires on, but I really have no clue what I'm doing when it comes to trucks. What is the biggest combo I can get while retaining the stock suspension setup. I'm talking about something under $1k here, which is why I'm considering rockcrawlers for the rims, since that should only run me approximately $200 total for 5 wheels. What tire, and what exact size should I get? Sorry for being so inept when it comes to this, but I don't understand anything when it comes to upgrading and tuning trucks, although I'm a wizard if you give me a car, but hey, we're not talking about those ;-). So, if any of you have some good reccomendations on what you think would be a good tire/wheel combo, or if you have any other helpful hints on how to upgrade this thing, please share your ideas, I'd really appreciate it. Also, what other decent Rodeo and/or Isuzu related forums are out there? I've been looking around for some but they're pretty hard to come across compared to other models of cars that I've owned.
Thanks,
Alex

Welcome! My other car is a '96 Jetta and because of all the problems, I pretty much know it inside and out. There's a very active VW forum at vwvortex.com for help, but this board gets a fraction of the traffic. Good luck!
