Installing Kill Switch

Hi unfortunately my car got broken into last night and they took my precious radio and cd im now afraid they are going to take my car and im wondering how to instal a ignition or starter kill switch that can turn off and on so my baby dont leave me when i wake up. i have a 89 crx si any help will be appreciated

Ignition kill switch is simple
You will need wire, connectors, & single pole metal switch.
All you do is disconnect the negative coil wire & splice a wire running to the switch. From the other terminal on the switch, run another wire back to the negative side of the coil.

actually thats a fuel kill switch but works too

hmmm.. i kinda like the fuel kill switch but im still wondering is the wire still the same thing as a 96-00 civic as a crx if not what wire should i cut off and where can it b located

check teh Helms/Chilton's/Haynes i guess, i'm not 100% positive, but i'm sure it is. check tho to be safe

A "kill switch" can be hooked up to just about anything with a negative wire(fuel pump, ingnition coil, etc) Since all your doing is breaking the circuit with the switch.
