Hi there,

I have a 1995 Chrysler voyager and my chime isn't working since I bought it. Now after some time I would like to repair it but have no idea where it is located. Could someone give me a hint ?

I would also like to know where the connector for the seatbelt is. The previous owner hated the indication that he doesn't have the seatbelt on and disconnected it so I just have the cable+male connector on the ground under my seat but couldn't find the female connector anywhere.

Thanks for the hints :-)

Underneath the dash just to the right of the steering column is a blue or white plastic box approx. 3x6 inches. You will probably see the chime connector wire hanging next to or close to the box if the original owner didn't cut it off. Plug it in and you should be all set.

As for the seatbelt indicator it sounds like he just pulled the wires from the wiring harness block under the seat. Disconnect the wire harness and pull it out as far as you can get it and see either and is missing some wires. Both ends of the wire harness connectors should have the same number of wires. If the wire harness is not there try reaching under the seat and see if he stuck the wires in the hole that's in the carpet for the wire harness. If it's there then just pull it out and plug it in.

Hope this helps you out.

Gawd I love this place.

With my new found info I'm heading out right now to look for that wire.

I'm gonna cut it up into little peices.

I'll make too short... anything.

Goodbye chime from hell.

Thank
Wayne
