What are those things?

Simple question; on a '97, what are the tweeter looking things above the door controls on each front door. I still have not ordered the manual. Temp sensors? Speakers? I have the Bose system, but no sound comes out of these.

You know what Indy ? I dont have the Bose system in my car but treble comes out of mine. I guess they use the same door panels. Now I got a Q for you why is base spelled wrong on every stereo you see ? :)

I know, it should be "deep sounding BASE" not "largemouth BASS". So do you think my tweeters could have blown? All other stereo functions are operating.

i have bose and nothing out of mine. if you look w/flashlight i see nothing. had my door panel off and don't remember wires going there. quick glance, 97 service manuel does seem to address it at all under bose or door panel, just shows one speaker. hun? i'll look more.

I don't think the Bose system have tweets there .

yeah the bose system has no tweeters but they do have the speakers in the rear door. the non system bose doesn't have speakers in the rear doors.

My 97 now has 3.5"s in the rear door also.
