Well folks,
That final was one of THE most spectacular games I have ever seen. I thought the Wallabies hung on much better than expected and in all honesty didn't deserve to be there, the All Blicks did. But some of the play in that extra time was edge of your seat spectacular. The better team won and I hope you enjoy and savor the victory!

:aus:  :aus:  :aus:  :aus:

The finals or Rugby World Cup, 2003. Basically, determining the Rugby champ of the world for the next 4 years. :)

Wasn't exactly the greatest show of skill, but the scores made it a great spectacle.

On a down side to the macth, got told by a Kiwi yesterday "Ha ha ha the Aussies lost."

"Uh, yeah, but they still beat you...." Loser.

Well done England, I suppose they eventually had to win something, now, why is the rugby league being hidden up? he he.....

I diseagree, they played well all the time. England was stronger in every section of the game, our team was under pressure and started doing small costly mistake (stupid foul and knock on) which allowed Wilco to shoot at us like sitting ducks. Also backward up and under doesn't work and that's a fact. Other than that they were ok although I haven't seen the game against NZ.

Fuck you australia managed to win one of three tests they played against the Kiwis and that was just lucky
a final in Australia without Australia would have been disasterous i reckon the Kiwis through the game
who cares if the poms never win

Thanks, sounds like quite a few people here enjoyed the match. Maybe someday, rugby will catch on here.

Who cares.. here in America we have a real sport called football.

:nono: You have pansy girly football with the coach telling you where to run and when to run and how long to run for. And then there's the body armour and helmets so you don't hurt your widdle selves. Rugby was, is and always will be the only REAL football. :thefinger

Yogs - why not start a trend and start following it? The US had a team in it, they just got their asses handed to them on a platter by an Island nation with less than 50,000 inhabitants. :D

At least you can tell what the hell's going on in football

We can tell what's going on in the game of rugby.

Counter...... at least rugby players don't have to keep stopping and waiting for the coach to tell them what to do next.

I'd rather watch a flowing game of rugby than a stop-start game of American football.

:iamwithst, :iceslolan , i agree compleatly, football isnt that fun to watch, they stop every five yards to take a breath. rugby is alot more flowing, and imo more fun to watch.
