This has been the most blah month for me...too much going on at work, Christmas shopping still needs to be done, and not enough time to get everything done that needs to get done.

Anyone else feel like that?:alien2:

I have no feelings of christmas this year. So far, it has felt like any other month.

I tell everyone who would get me a present no to get me a present so I don't have to get anything for them. It's much easier that way.

You sound like me. I am not "in the spirit" this yr.

Ive been too busy with work and school to notice, and the fact that the media hypes christmas soo much now just to sell crap, makes me want to puke.

Christmas is so commercial now it sucks. Everything is "buy this" or "get that". Everything has shifted focus from being with your family to going into debt for stuff that probably won't be used or even around next year.

I hear all of you. Not to mention my closest relitive is over 9,000 miles away. Not going to be much of a Christmas. Prolly spend it alone or possibly with a friend.

First year I haven't been with relitives ever during the holidays. :(

I have no problem with the comercialization of X-mas, I dont partake in the spend spend spend mania that seems to grip so many people. However, if thats how the lemmings want to respond, then thats their issue to deal with.

I actually don't want anything this year. I just want to see my family and have fun.:)

In my family, we have a limit we set on how much we spend on each other. Another rule we have is we all got together and cut up our credit cards and melted them into a modern art masterpiece! My family and I are dedicated to get out of debt, so with all this support and teamwork, I think this'll be the best Christmas yet!

Anyone else feel like that?:alien2: Well I agree with you on the Christmas shopping thing. The only present I’ve bought so far is for my husband! We’re going to do the rest of it tomorrow and we aint coming home until all presents have been bought! :D

Xmas is huge at my place at the moment. With 2 young kids it really gives you a buzz again at xmas time to see them unwrapping there presents.

All the shopping is done....the cards are sent....the trees up......the fridge is full of beers :D

Nah....as i said she lets me do what i want to do and i let her do what she wants to do.
She doesnt moan at me for going out and having a beer or ten with the boys as long as i stay out of trouble and ring her to let her know what i'm doing.
Plus with our busy work shifts we dont see each other much. This week i'd be lucky if i have seen her for more then 2 hours altogether.
