location under username?

I have just noticed that the location that is usually under the username is not there anymore. Is this going to be for good or is this a test etc. Just curious, I think it is cool to see where people are from.:biggrin:

only temporary - actually from now you will be able to see the country, state (if US), and city under the username.

Is it possible to enter other states for those of us who don't live in the US? The current compulsory alternative of 'None' leaves something to be desired!
