THe 109mb Porsche video was staged!

I agree.
The Police vehicle didn't look like a real police vehicle.
Then we didn't see the police again, what kind of a chase is that?!?!:hehehe:

But is the driving fake? is the sound added? and the clip speeded up? hmm.. someone tell me...

That video was sped up and staged. There is only one clue in the entire video that will tip you off, and you need to be a pilot or work around an airport to know. At one point in the video, they are running across a bridge, or an open area,(can't remember exactly). Well, the rotating beacon on the tower is going about 2-3 times as fast as it normaly does. They never rotate that fast. The normal rotation is between 1 and 2 seconds per revolution, not 2+ rotations per second.
I believe it was a senior film project for school. They did an outstanding job regardless. If you look closely, there are a few times when they catch the brakes throwing off sparks,(well, hot brake pad parts). That is normal when braking aggressively, we just never see it.

I am going through flight school for the Navy. They are trying to teach me how to fly their fancy jets,(not to jets yet, but a few months away, currently in T-34's). But I have been around aviation most of my life.
Hopefully I will be flying the planes you are trying to keep in the air! (Noone said pilots are the smartest breed...):rolleyes:

i had 3 or 4 flight lessons myself,,,, hope someday to be flying for a Major Airlines....

hope to go to Embry-Riddle or something like that.. Purdue... I don't know but hopefully someplace:D

The porsche was a mid/late 80's 911.
as for being in college and affording a porsche, they must have rich friends! actaully, a mid 80's 911 isn't that expensive, it compares favorably to a newer SUV,(in price only!)

Another giveaway about the 911 "chase" being staged is that when the alleged cops jump out of the Volvo police car, one is wearing purple track pants and the other appears to be wearing a brown leather jacket and jeans! I doubt that the Swedish police have a dress-down policy in effect :)

Nonetheless, a very exciting video to watch - especially the footage in the tunnel.

I'm still getting used to this website, where can i find this video, and other vids too, like the mclaren vs the supra. no i'm not blonde i'm just not computer savy. thanks for your help.

Who has actually been/lives in Sweden. If you do then you will know what the cops are like etc..

He dosn't appear to be going that hard, if it is sped up then he is going damn slow at normal speed then..

AS for the cop, when he gets into the centre of the city, you start to hear the sirens again?

I live in Norway, the neigrboor country... the video is 'fake' and the cops are not real! saw an interview with some swedish cops saying it wasnt one of them,...!!

Excactly right! In fact that is how I found your posting. I watched the really cool film and noticed the airport beacon rotating very fast.
I was looking up beacon rpm speeds when I found this posting.
FYI normal Airport beacon revolution speed is 13 rpm. I have to admit I have never flown in Sweden, but All beacons I have seen run about the same speed. Still a well done video.
