Calling out the experts!!!
Myself and the GM dealer is stumpped!!
I have a 86 v6 Fiero, with about 195k... when I drive on the express-way about 60mph the engine will cut out and jump every now and again... It's worse with the a/c on...
I'm leaning on a bad injector or possible bad distributor?
Any ideas would be GREATLLY APPRECIATED..
New Engine about 50k ago.
Mostly new sensors
Just put these on
New Ignition module
New pickup coil
new Coil
new coil wires

Mine started out that way, and got worse. It finally got to where it coughed and sputtered even at low speeds... The final culprit: A plugged cat... Car sounded real throaty under acceleration... Might be somewhere to look.... Good Luck!!

Yeah, same with my buddy's 87 GT. He did an easy fix... took out the cat and threw in a straight pipe! Sounds better and has a little more power too. I think rodneydickman.com has the conversion. If you need a cat because of where you live, then go to westcoastfiero.com. They have great ones!
Hope this helps!
