When someone says "I want the whole rear end", what EXACTLY does he mean(I mean, what is included in the "rear end")?

I would say brake to brake, the whole shabang. Just bolt in and go, no other components required to install.

Whole is the operative word. I agree with HighFlow5 0. That should include everything except the driveshaft, control arms, and anti-roll bar.
