if you have a local shop that tunes cars i say talk to them. but as for a turbo you need to make a turbo kit i doubt that one sells for the 91 prelude. itz alot of custo fabrication i say get some 1 experienced.. to look for what you need just look on line on on this forum custom turbo kits are discussed alot around here.. for ex you need the turbo, exhaust mainfole, downpipe, the piping, bov, oil lines ect..
good luck

i am not too up to date on the older model preludes, is the 91' the same as the 92? if so we offer a turbonetics kit for the 92, h23a1 and one for the h22a1.

he said that he has a 92 lude. But the 91 is a different gen. than the 92.
In general you can piece together a custom kit for a lot less $ than you would buy an already manufactured kit. The downside is that you need to do a TON of research on custom turbo kits to make sure you don't do something stupid like blowing your engine.
On the other hand you can buy an already manufactured kit and if you can follow instructions, you should be able to get it together without any major problems.
For a custom turbo kit here are some of the main things you would need:
turbo
turbo manifold
Charge pipes
blow off valve
oil and coolant lines (you'll have to find some way to splice into these)
downpipe (may need to be custom made)
Some form of fuel managment.
Personally I would try to make a custom setup but I am a college student on a tight budget but if you've got the money there are plenty of kits for you car. Just search the web under PRELUDE 92 TURBO KIT.
Hope this helps
