Indiglo Gauges - HELP!

I have a 92 Accord LX coupe manual, and I want to get a set of indiglo gauges for it. Does anyone have these, and how do they look? Anybody got pictures? Also, what brand should I go with? How accurate are the gauges? How difficult are they to install, and did you guys have any problems installing them? How much of the dash do I have to take apart to instal them? Some people said I have to remove the center console, ashtray, radio, vents, etc, just to get at the gauges? Is this true? Thanks for the help guys!

Hello I have a 91 manual...same ride (almost) :D

I have indiglo gauges.
To answer your questions...they look great. I love them!
The only draw back is that the numbers are printed wrong. The speed goes from 0 to 140 mph when in fact our stock gauges go from 0-130mph.
Thus the speedometer is a little off. No big deal for me really because the needle points to a higher speed than I am actually going. Saves me from a speeding ticket. :)

The installation process is rather simple. You just need some patience and about half a day at most. I don't know how much it is to install by a professional because I did the job myself.

You have to remove the entire dash.
Do you see the black plastic cover that hides the gauges, a/c unit and radio?!?!?
You have to remove that.

If you like some STEP by STEP instructions...go here.
It's my website with directions.

As for some pictures...here you go.

Thanks a lot for the help. Where did you get your gauges by the way? I would like to find a fairly simply set of gauges that don't have the numbers written in every 10mph on the speedometer but every 20mph instead. It makes the speedometer look less clutered that way. Thanks for the help!

Oh, one more question for you. You know where the low fuel light is on the gas/temp gauge on the Accord? Well, it appears that some of the gauges have a second cut out for another light directly opposite the low fuel light. On the left side of the gauge under the gas gauge is a cut out for the low fuel light, but on the other side, under the temp gauge there is another cut out of the same size. What is this cut out for? I don't remember having a light there, and my car is an manual by the way.
Thanks

actually i think that is for cars equipped with the sport button that does nothing. about the speedometer being off you are really ob by .792mph for every 10 mph I have them and i really like them.

that sport button that you are talking about only comes on automatic

manal does not come with that sport function.

what happen is that the manufactor made ONE for the side of the gauge cluster and pass them out to all accords...auto and manual.
it saves on producing the product.

i got mine form ebay.com
the brand is Matrix
it's ok....works well.
every now and then the lights will turn off...but will pop back on after a few seconds :D

as for the number system which you speak of
good luck...you will have problems trying to find those.
don't think there are any out there like that.

if you really want gauges that count upwards by the 20's

0-20-40-60 etc.

you will have to make you own.
get regular white gauges...scan them into your computer and manually erase the numbers you don't want.
then with a really good printer and the best paper you can get...print them out.
Cut them and place them in your gauges cluster.

Only problem is that they will not be indiglo...but at least you have the number system you want.
if you like, put a black light in your cluster and at night, your white guages will still glow...but now it's unique since they're not regular indiglos. :D

ALmost all of the aftermarket gauges count in increments of 20s, except the original gauges. They count, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140. Most ar elike that. thanks
