Coolant Bleeder Screw Area Leaking

Ok.. well since my car is pretty old and was thrown around by like 3 girls before me. It was killed. Today i was bleeding air out of the coolant system, no sooner did i turn the screw anymore than 10 degrees, the bleeder screw and metal ring it goes into snapped off!!!!! Does anyone know what that whole assembly right there is called?


Where the radiator hose connects to the engine. That whole little bit of metal assembly.

I should say.. the upper hose connecting to the engine. At the end of the hose there's the bleeder screw. I need to replace that whole metal piece right there. Anyone know what it's called?

thromstat housing woul be my guess. did just the bleeder screw break or the actually housing?

I believe part of the housing. The bleeder screw is still fine. Just now a segment of the shaft where the bleeder screw went has broken off.

yeah you will need a new thromstat housing
