The car i'm building is AMT's nascar n° 24 Jeff gordon
I'm going it build it out the box no specials maybe add some wiring.
I already did the body and the engine it wasn't easy with al those decals but i went quite well thanxs to microsoll.

:iceslolan Nice stuff, JG isnt one of my fav's any more but nice looking build, im doing a Revell Kevin Harvick right now, for my dads christmas present, (huge Harvick Fan) just one question, are all the flames decals or did you have to paint them on?

You did a great job on the decaling, but damn that body looks out of proportion. *sighs* The new AMT tooling non-gurus strike again.
Who wants to chip in to buy AMT a CAD/CAM machine so they can at least get dimensions right?

Photography is a bit blury but looks great so far from what I can see. Good job on the decals. I've been tempted to pick up a NASCAR model on occasion, the liverys can be stunning.
Is everything decals or did you have to paint the nose section red?

Well, it's painted well, but I would suggest updating the chassis to represent a current NASCAR stock car.
For instance, there should be a brace, known as the Earnhardt bar, going from the center of the upper windshield bar of the roll cage to the middle of the dash. This is to prevent the windshield area from collapsing inwards.
Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Nah, you want the real deal as far as NASCAR drivers are concerned then look no further than the two late greats from the North; Tim Richmond and Alan Kulwicki.
It's always so convenient that NASCAR hides Richmond, who died of AIDS and ignores Kulwicki, who beat their best and brightest on his own dime.
