ive seen people get coilovers, some struts, some just lowering springs... ive also seen people cut their springs lmao anyways.. what do u guys prefer for just a street racing/cruise car? i wanna get like a 1-1.5 drop on both sides. also is it crucial that i get a camber kit or something like that?

No for that range of drop, no. If lower than "1.5 that's when I might start considering a camber kit if you think you really need one. Either way GET an alignment once you drop. More worthwhile in the long run than getting a camber kit since bad toe will wear your tires 10 times faster than bad camber will. Proven fact there.

Anyways, for your needs I'd say go with some quality lowering springs like Eibach Pro Kit, Neuspeed Sports, Tein Luxory Masters (new line they just put out, might also be called Tein "High Techs") or H&R sports. All will give a moderate amount of drop, and still feel pretty comfortable. I'd go eithe KYB AGX shocks or maybe some Koni Reds. I don't think you'd need something like Koni Yellows since you won't be racing on them it sounds like.
