97 Yukon Brakes

Hello,
I have a 97 Yukon with a 5.7 engine with front brake noise/squealing. The braking system on this vehicle has always been sluggish (never as nice as some other vehicles) I've always thought the rear brakes were not braking as well as they should have. After replacing the front brakes and having the rotors cut (to eliminate flutter) the squealing returned after only three months, so I recently manually tightened the rear brakes which helped the feeling of braking much more. Within a few days the braking was all transferred to the front again and the feeling of sluggishness returned.
Question; Is there or has there ever been an aftermarket brake master-cylinder for these vehicles Recommended brand). If not, what should I do to eliminate the problem?
P.S. I've never had to replace the rear brakes because they're in good condition ( I guess they're just not used). :banghead:
