Gear problem

I have trouble getting my car in 1st, 5th and reverse. Do I need a new clutch, linkage cables or ( heaven forbid ) :nono: a new gearbox.
I drive a AE92 16v Gti.

my car did the same thing, still does grind a little into second in high revs, like 5000, but check ur clutch resevoir and oil, maybe its ur clutch assembly but chances are ur car is fucked and needs to be looked at

Anyone else ever had this problem?

AE101's Have a common problem with 2nd gear mine was fixed with out to much trouble, but for you it sounds abit like sinccros? make sure your g-box oil is nice and fresh and the right thickness
