I have this posted on the Integra forum as well. But I am wanting to start a new project monster car. I want to put the 3.2L Vtech in an integra. I usually deal with american muscle but I have been convinced into doing a foreign monster machine. And this is the way I want to do it. I want to put a 3.2L VTech in a early to mid 90's model integra. Has this been done, can it be done, and if it has been done what am I talking about time and money wise. Let me know. I am not buying anything until I know if this is possible.

not too sure where you can get an NSX engine, but even if you do you'll have to deal with the rwd tranny in a fwd chassis. Also, fitting a V6 under the hood of a tiny I4 (which is already pretty crammed stock) would be another challenge. Nobody that I know of makes custom motor mounts for the swap. Also, the overwhelming weight of a V6 would make turning an absolute chore. I'm not saying this couldn't be done, but there are other more logical and (very) less costly ways of getting 272hp into a teg. What you should do is get a DOHC vtec 4 cylinder and turbocharge/tune it. That could get you up to 300hp/250tq with less than $10k - $15k (depending on if you can do the work yourself or have a shop do it). That's just an option, but if you're really set on the NSX engine and have the bills, all I can say is good luck.
Check out www.hmotorsonline.com or www.inlinefour.com for some prices on engines, and if any of them can special order an NSX engine if this is still what you want to do.

all i could suggest for such a swap, would be to make a custom enclousre inside the trunk/hatch area of the teg. it would be an immensly costly swap, since everything would be custom, as well as all the points ricochet brought up.
good luck, keep us posted if you decide to do this.

NSX motor is great, in NSX, stick to the 4 cyl.. You can make 2x the power of the NSX for half the price of putting it in that chassis.

if your gonna hack up a car that bad you should take a 92-95 civic DX and build a sleeper outta it. The underhood area is slightly larger on the civic over the integra's plus its not such ashame to distroy a $2000 civic verses a $8000 integra. These gonna be no way your going to be able to have a/c or power steering too i hope you realise. I belive a ford 9" rear end would be about the right size for the RWD, although don't quote me on that. as for the front end I would think you would have to build something custom to take the weight, maybe a mustang II or something? in the end all your gonna have is a drag car, and you could just start out with a turbo on a 4 banger and be just a fast. anyhow good luck man.
