Hey everyone
it's me again....Accord boy with G20 girl :D
I was wondering who shares engines with the G20 here in the US?!?!?!?
Does the Altima have the same engine?
And what would be the best engine swap be from?

The Sentra SE-R, NX2000 and 200SX SE-R all share the G20 motor.
The best swap is from overseas and that would be from a SR20DET from a Bluebird or even better would be from a Pular GTi-R.

cool thanks.
I know what the Sentra SE is.
I also know what the 200SX SE-R is.
You guys are talking about the 140 hrosepower 2.0 liter DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder....right?!?!?
I'm sure there is a code name for all that. :)
I understand that you are from Canada and there might be a few differences between here and there.
I don't think the US has a Sentra SE-R.
If I'm correct, the only models I see are XE, GXE, GLE, and SE.
What the heck is a NX2000?!?!?! I don't think I have ever heard that one before. Is that a Canadian car only?
And lastly, if my understanding is correct, the G20 does not share the same engine as the Altima. Right?
THANKS!!!

yes we are talking about the SR20DE, 140 hp 2.0 liter DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder :D
in the US, there is a Sentra SE-R, 200SX SE-R, NX2000, they all share the same engine as the G20, the SR20DE. the Altima has a different engine than all of those cars. overseas, the Bluebird is equivalent to the Altima, but the engine is different. it holds the SR20DET, which many people swap in the cars i mentioned. the GTi-R is a less common swap that used, but it has a T28 (Bluebird, aka BB, has a T25) and puts out 237 hp. :D
cool thanks.
