ok well im getting rs-r ex-mag gt2 exhaust(2.5") and then dcsports 421 stainless header and a cheap rai with k&n
i have an 92 gs auto.
what should i do after this for performance wise its staying auto and not going f/i or completly wild with n/a
ive thought about cams but would that be very good if i have an auto

Congrats on the RSR exhaust, one of the best IMO. But for the header I think you might be happier with the 4-1 instead of the 4-2-1. Unless you don't do much high rpm driving. Cams would most certainly help out. Even with it being a aito I think the cams will work nicely, but still you will have some disapointments from time to time b/c the manual tranny tegs are going to be faster with the same amount of mods. However there are some options for the auto tranny. Try looking here http://www.levelten.com/store/import/packages/parts_acura_cl.htm

thanks a lot that helps :worshippy:
the prob. with being an auto is it shifts at 6300 they have a auto. shift controller comp. there but is that really worth it? and how would you set that up like what would you use to shift

Not 100% sure, but I would only assume that it uses some buttons or something like in the new grandprix. What I would do if you are really interested in this setup is email or call their tech department and get all the info directly from the source so that it is completely correct. It would be something to look into if you are really wasnting to keep the auto tranny, but consider that you can probably buy manual and install it for less or the same price.

RS-R exhaust, i was wondering is it worth it, sounds like you like it so what is good aobut it and what does it sound like, how does that springy thingy holding the two pipes together take the test of time?

:iagree: If your staying NA then I would go with the CAI and rather than just going with a set of cams you should totally upgrade the top.and they also have stroker kits which would be a good NA idea. :2cents:
