OMFG!!! LMAO!!!
Are u serious? That is so funny. Here's my advice: whoever told u that should be shot. Next time u see him, turn around and run away, run far away and don't look back till you've reached the border cuz that guy obviously doesn't know anything about vtec, or hondas, or cars for that matter....lol
How exactly do you fry a head? I know there's oil on it, and it gets extremely hot but jeez...

flip the switch when you get to about 4500-5000 rpm....doesn't matter what gear you are in.....

...why not get an rpm activated switch and be done with it.. not too expensive and much much better than a toggle switch..that's just ghetto..

When would I turn it off?
you would turn it off when you go below 4500 rpm for example when you upshift.....i would go with marked001 though and suggest an rpm activated switch for ease of use

I think toggle switch is cool cause its like hitting a turbo boost button or something lol

Wire v-tec to a monster tac and set vtec where ever u want it to kick in, 48000 or 5500 should be good, thats what u did..Is set at 4800
