Is it possible (i know it would be hard) to apply a Turbo to a 1991 Lumina 3.1

Don't know, but I would stick with a Super Charger.

Actually...a turbo is more efficient, and better suited for the 3.1. My 90 TGP has a turbo'd 3.1 in it. It's not that hard of a setup to build really.

There are easier ways to do a turbo setup....instead of raping a RARE TGP for it's motor and tranny. Just my opinion though.

where are you going to the turbo adaptible exhaust manifold if you don't get it from the tgp? no one make a kit (oh what if a tgp was totalled out would you take the engine then
