Has anyone seen the series on the History Channel this week? I found it pretty amazing abot Johnson being involved in the murder.

Actually haven't seen it, but I have seen the commericals for it and thought it looks interesting. On another note, I have heard of the Johnson theory before though. Pretty intriging.

By the way, welcome to AF.

it is something like LBJ and 5 other major oil owners Texas didnt like JFK because he was going to close down the oil reserves and stuff, so LBJ invited JFK to come to a parade in Dallas, TX so that he could assassinate him. But the wierd thing about it is is that right when JFK was shot the secret service took the body and wouldnt let a doctor do an autopsy (sp?) but he did examine the body and a bullet whole went straight through his neck and out his brain, but according to the secret service's autopsy the bullet went from the back to the front so it made it look like Oswald shot him from the window when really the bullet seems to have come from the grassy spot in the front of the car or from the bridge near the interstate. and i used to think that Oswald was a little person but really he was a well known guy. but with kennedy out of the way LBJ would now be able to run the country and keep the oil reserve things, and another thing JFK was going to remove all of the people in vietnam and LBJ wanted more over there and look what happend like 300,000 men or more died for no reason. but there is alot more stuff than this, this is just the basic

Brand is correct; the body shown in the "official" autopsy pictures only has one small, neat bullet hole in the back of the head but all versions of the film footage clearly show a gunshot blowing the right/back of his head clean off.

I love that series. I have the original that was produced about 10 years ago and the autopsy itself would tell me that their was something weird about the whole issue. :iagree:

Dammit, dammit, dammit, :banghead: That was on last night, wasn't it? I really wanted to watch that, but completely forgot it was on... Guess I'll have to catch the re-run.

I think that the governemnt was in on it. either because of his stance on Civil Rights, or because of his planned withdrawl from Vietnam, and the fact that all governemnt records are sealed untill either 2017 or 2024, i'm not sure which

Kennedy assasination is one of the more fun conspiracy theories out there. So many of them.

Personally I think the whole LBJ theory is a crock. Most of the conversations in the book outlining thhe LBJ theory were speculation on the author's part and not actual conversations taht took place. Also, whenever anyone tries to say there is no conspiracy they go right to the book about the LBJ conspiracy to make a blanket statement about all the conspiracies surrounding his assassination and then ignore the other ones that hold more water.

Speakin of JFK, who has been to the museum in Dallas? I went when I was still in elementary school, but even at that age I found it very interesting.
