How do you take the brake drum off?

My wife was pulling out of the drive way this morning into busy traffic and the back tire locked up. Fourtuanetly going in reverse makes the tire not locked up. Put it in forward again and the wheel locks up.

So I pull the tire off and I am challenged by a Brake Drum that has 4 lugs with 2 phillips screws between a set of lugs. I stripped the screws out already but still cant get the drum off.

ANY IDEAs? I took a picture of my situation and showed it to automotive people but nobody seems to know whats wrong with it.

the drum come off this way remove the wheel and then remove the 2 phillips screws and on the drum there is another 2 holes screw the phillips screws there that will push the drum out.

You need a impact phillips screw driver to get the screws out.

Yes, you may need an impact driver. It is a good idea to dab a bit of anti-sieze paste (at any auto shop) on the threads of the two locking phillips screws... that way they wont freeze into the drum in the future... good idea to dab onto the wheel studs too.
