Hi

I think race cars need to be a choice, so I choose classics instead, would have been all of the above but not into muscle cars.

Thanks.

None of the above!

Need options for rally cars, touring cars, openwheelers (F1, CART, etc) and sportscars (Le Mans, GT series, etc).

Also watch the use of the term 'import'. Can appear very arrogant if used to describe cars of Japanese, European or other non-US origin. For example, here in Australia a Ford Mustang is an import car!

Touring cars, F1, and sportscars! 'Modern' and 'Import' is kinda vague. If its quick, expensive and European.... :naughty:

I only build models of lugnuts from 1926 Fiats. NOTHING ELSE! :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

But seriously, all it takes is a decent kit and/or a moderately interesting subject to get me started on a project. I'll build whatever I can get excited about.

As long as it's got 4 wheels (sometimes 3) and an engine, it's cool.

Same for me, but the box has to say: "Bugatti".

Hard to find, though....

I picked muscle cars because they are my favorite on that list. I don't count exotic sports cars as imports, that seems to be a pretty set category. Does a 36 Ford five window coupe with Corvette IRS and engine count as a classic?

European cars, would prefer Opels, but because the very small amount of kits available, I also "have to" do other brands too.

When I was a kid, I built lots of American cars (=import cars, as I live in Europe...) :)

I don't like the use of the phrase "import car", because in the context it's used, it works only in the USA, and some people use that phrase even here for non-american cars. Technically all "domestic" cars here in Finland would be only some Saabs, Opels and Porsches, but I think EU-wide...

for the options above, it's "none or some of the above"...

36 Ford w/ Corvette drivetrain counts as contemporary classic..

I've only ever built Muscle cars or american cars, usually with 8 or more cylinders. Although the prospect of doing an import is a tantalising one. The only problem is over here they can cost up to and over twice as much as the muscle kits!
