How to minimize torque steer and speed up take offs

I have a 97 gs-t and i wanted to know how do i minimize torque steer? i heard LSD works wonders but anything else u guys can recommend. and also im working on my launches. i launch at about 3500 rpm from then shift every gear at 6000 rmp can anyone else recommend any other racing techniques to speed up my 1/4 mile time. tanx.
