New 03 noises

Hi
Newbie here.... just found the board after picking up my new 03 SE. I purchased this after having a certain amount of experience with the SO's 01 SE...... a great truck ... no serious problems...alwaways did what was asked with no complaints. Sooooooo ...... picked up a 2003, and this one has a most annoying misfire(detonation)? upon moderate acceleration. Dealer doesn't seem to have a clue ( never needed them before), but I 'm not going to stop annoying them until we find an answer. Any ideas, or has anyone else had this problem? Nothing in the FAQ that I can see. Other than the popping noise, it's still a great truck.
