I had my resonator removed about a month ago. Everytime i start my car up for like 3 minutes to 5, it makes this bumble bee kind of sound. After my car is warmed up, it stops making this sound. Its really annoying and when the car warms up my car sounds good but i feel like a loser when i start my car up and drive off with that dumbass sound. Could someone please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? THANKS!!!!!

there is a reason why there was a resonator, so it wouldnt have that tinny sound to it. either live with it until it gets warm or put it back in. why would u take it out in the first place? the piping was bigger in that section anyways.

taking your resonator out of your exhaust system is not really that good of an idea. many cars often LOSE horse power as a result. read the article in the technical section about backpressure then go buy a new midsection pipe from autozone (should only be like $70) or a new cat back system. even aftermarket exhaust systems have resonators in them. this stuff has been tested.

you can get a high flow resonator that would give you the sound that oyu are probally looking for. then you still have you emmissions componets. also it will reduce back pressure.
