Ok im seriously, extremely pissed off right now and kinda dumbfounded, and still in shock.
This is what happened, im at work and it was my lunch break so i walked over to subway, across the street, and i go in. Im on my cell phone having a normal conversation, right, im not using any vulgar language or cursing or anything when all of a sudden this 60yr old man grabs me by both shoulders and walks me outside subway. I think at first i didnt know what was going on cuz i just kept talking on my phone, then i realized once we got to the door that this old fart had his hands on me. So i turn around and say get ur hands off me he doesnt until im outside then he says we dont care to hear ur conversation. i finished my conversation and went back inside i didnt say anything to him but i know i shldve. what wld u all have done?
By the way it wasnt an employee or a manager just a regular customer.

I like the wrinkley face comment then i woulda just pushed his depends wearing ass onto the ground, and kicked him a couple of times. If anyone said anything he grabed you first, SELF DEFENSE!

Since he was pushing you, you could probably of filed a charge of assualt.
Of you could have slapped him and called it self defense.
With any luck, you'll go back there and he will be there again, if he is pretend to be on the phone. If he touches you, dial 911 and get the cop to deal with him.
Just make it clear to the 911 operator you are being touched in an inappropriate manner by the guy and he will be in 7 kinds of shit!

When he said"we don't wanna hear your conversation" you should've said "...then turn off your hearing aid!"

:iagree: with all the above. Especially those who mentioned those words: "SELF-DEFENSE". I woulda told him to get the #$%! off of me and if he wasn't a second later, his ass would be on the ground. The nerve of some people... unbelievable. :headshake

You should have smacked him. He has no right to tell you where you cant talk to someone on your cell-phone, unless it states clearly on a sign in the establishment otherwise.

You gotta love stuff like that. When something so out of the ordinary happens. Even though it's offensive at first, you gotta look back and laugh. What was that guy thinking? Some people are lost.

I dunno... i just think old people in general are pretty fucked in the head... they become such righteous old shits because their warped memories convince them that they never laid a foot wrong in their youth. add to that bitterness at growing old and you have yourself extremely irritating human beings who like to, no, feel that they have the right to tell people how to live their lives.
The other day i was in my car trying to pull out of a parking space. Traffic was stopped directly ahead, and there was a lovely looking old couple in a small car driving slowly towards it. I assumed the guy would stop and let me go but to my disappointment he didnt, and stopped his car exactly level to mine. He couldnt go any further cos of the car right in front of him, and he'd blocked my way out. So I gave him a "what was that for?" look, and the reaction i got was unbelievable. These old farts, the man AND his wife, were so animated and aghast at the thought of letting me go in front of them that i thought they were gonna have a heart attack. It didnt stop me winding down my window and laying into them with the most sarcastic shit ive probably ever come up with...
im telling you, old people are crazy :screwy:
There are exceptions to the old fart rule though, like my grandma. She's great :lol2:

I would have told him "But its your daughter and she wants some rough sex". :smokin: Then just turned around and ignored him. If he really wanted to get rough I would have taken him down if he tried to push me out the door.

he should not have done that, but still people talk on their cell phones too much where they should not be, so I understand his gripe.
imprtchk21

I understand that also, but im in SUBWAY getting lunch and there are no signs stating the use of a cell phone if he had a problem like if i was talking loud or whatever he cldve kindlly said something.

actually I had to go to court for battery over something similar to this....so believe me, I would do it. I don't like violence, but when someone physically grabs me I see it as potential bodily harm and anything short of defending myself leaves me wide open. Not because I am a bully or any kind of tough guy, but I don't like the thought of getting hurt by not defending myself as the bigger problem. A judge saw my situation as necessary to safeguard my well being (depending on the law of the land you live in and how battery or assault is defined) and in an instance like that a citizen is justified their actions in how they "percieved" this person's intentions.
btw.....I got in trouble for continually punching a guy at a football game because he shoved me out of the line while waiting to get in. I then punched his face several times and security came.....lots of attention.....and i didn't get to see the Colts play. Charges didn't stick in court.

Eat loads of Mcedees. Once you get to the 100kg mark there's no way he could push you around.
You couldn't start arguing with him as it's hard to change the mind of olddies and it never ends. I would have use a nice punch line, loud enough but not aggressive so everybody can hear. The one from Oldercarguy should have shut him up.
